A 66-year-old woman underwent sigmoidectomy for colon cancer. The final diagnosis was early cancer of pT2 pN0 and M0 (fStage I ). A chest CT revealed lung metastasis and lymph node metastasis 6 years after surgery. The patient was treated sequentially with FOLFOX, FOLFIRI, and XELOX regimens. Since these regimens resulted in progressive disease, regorafenib was started as the fourth regimen. After 8 courses, she was evaluated as having a partial response. Her partial response has continued for 18 months of regorafenib treatment.

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multisystemic connective tissue disease with a wide range of clinical and laboratory manifestations. The diagnosis of SLE is often challenging due to the great variability in its presentation, and treatment should be individualized according to the patient's manifestations and affected organs. We present the clinical case of a 25-year-old female who developed SLE with severe hematological and renal involvement as first manifestations, including hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, and nephrotic syndrome.

This study surveyed a large sample of veterans about their satisfaction with prosthetic-related care and sought to understand how women veterans with limb loss rate their satisfaction with prostheses and care.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional, mixed-mode survey of 46,614 veterans with major upper or lower limb amputation or partial foot amputation to assess amputation type, prosthesis use intensity, satisfaction with prostheses and services, and quality of life.

Objective: Interpretation of clinical genetic testing, which identifies a potential genetic etiology in 25% of children with epilepsy, is limited by variants of uncertain significance. Understanding functional consequences of variants can help distinguish pathogenic from benign alleles. We combined automated patch clamp recording with neurophysiological simulations to discern genotype-function-phenotype correlations in a real-world cohort of children with SCN1A-associated epilepsy.

Introduction: Avelumab, an anti-programmed death ligand 1 antibody, was approved in combination with axitinib for curatively unresectable or metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) in Japan in December 2019. Because the pivotal JAVELIN Renal 101 study included a limited number of Japanese patients, post-marketing surveillance (PMS) was required to evaluate outcomes (safety and effectiveness) in patients with RCC who received avelumab + axitinib treatment in clinical practice in Japan.
Materials And Methods: We report data from prospective, noncomparative, multicenter, observational PMS in patients with RCC who received ≥ 1 dose of avelumab.
