Introduction: Endolymphatic sac tumor (ELST) is a rare neoplasm that exhibits aggressive growth primarily in the endolymphatic capsule and can potentially affect nearby neurovascular structures. The diagnosis of ELST poses challenges due to its low prevalence, gradual progression, and nonspecific symptomatology. It is currently believed that prompt surgical intervention is recommended for endolymphatic sac tumors upon diagnosis.

Introduction: This case examines the sonographic and clinical challenge of diagnosing a pyogenic liver abscess with systemic metastatic infection.
Case Description: The patient in this case study is an 81-year-old man who presented with intermittent rigors. Following radiological and clinical assessments, a pyogenic liver abscess, with evidence of systemic metastatic infection, was diagnosed.
Introduction: A recent scoping review identified histological chorioamnionitis (HCA), small for gestational age (SGA), and bubbly/cystic appearance on chest X-ray (bubbly/cystic CXR) as risk factors for severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). To further validate these results, a large-scale database was analyzed.
Methods: This retrospective multicenter cohort study included infants born at <28 weeks' gestational age between 2003 and 2016.

Introduction: Cystic echinococcosis is a widely endemic helminthic disease caused by infection with metacestodes (larval stage) of the Echinococcus granulosus tapeworm, which is transmitted by dogs and found on every continent except Antarctica. We sought to review the life cycle, epidemiology, symptoms, diagnostic methods, and treatment of Echinococcus granulosus of the liver.
Methods: A comprehensive review was conducted using Medline/PubMed, Google Scholar, Cochrane Library, and the Web of Science accessed between 1990 and 2024.
