Developing new organic conjugated materials for high density memory devices is highly desirable. In this research, a novel donor-acceptor-type twelve-ring fused twistheteroacene, 2,7,19,24-tetra-tert-butyl-13,30-didodecyl-9,17,26,34-tetraphenyl benzo[8',9']triphenyleno[2',3':7,8]dibenzo[b,e][1,4]dioxino[1,2,3,4-lmn]dibenzo[6',7':10',11']tetraceno[2',3':5,6][1,4]dioxino[2,3-f][3,8]phenanthroline-12,14,29,31(13H,30H)-tetraone (DPyN) has been synthesized and characterized. It displays high thermal stability, possesses a broad absorption band centered at 510 and 538 nm, and emits red fluorescence in organic solvents. A solution-processed memory device with DPyN as an active element shows an excellent memory performance with an ON/OFF current ratio of 10 :1 and a threshold voltage of -2.44 V.

Magnetic random-access memory that uses magnetic tunnel junction memory cells is a high-performance, non-volatile memory technology that goes beyond traditional charge-based memories. Today, its speed is limited by the high magnetization of the memory storage layer. Here we prepare magnetic tunnel junction memory devices with a low magnetization ferrimagnetic Heusler alloy MnGe as the memory storage layer on technologically relevant amorphous substrates using a combination of a nitride seed layer and a chemical templating layer.

Ferroelectric semiconductors have the advantages of switchable polarization ferroelectric field regulation and semiconductor transport characteristics, which are highly promising in ferroelectric transistors and nonvolatile memory. However, it is difficult to prepare a Sn-based perovskite film with both robust ferroelectric and semiconductor properties. Here, by doping with 2-methylbenzimidazole, Sn-based perovskite [93.

Background: Individuals with preclinical Alzheimer's disease (AD) show reduced practice effects on annually repeated neuropsychological testing, suggesting a decreased ability to learn over repeated exposures. Remote, digital testing enables the assessment of learning over more frequent time intervals, thereby facilitating a more rapid detection of those early learning deficits. We previously showed that multi-day learning on the Boston Remote Assessment for Neurocognitive Health (BRANCH) was indeed diminished in Αβ+ cognitively unimpaired (CU) older adults.

Background: Hearing loss is highly prevalent and can have significant consequences for older adults aging with cognitive impairment. However, few older adults use hearing aids and disparities in care exist by race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic position. To understand the intersection of hearing loss and cognitive impairment with the ultimate goal of developing an affordable, accessible hearing care intervention responsive to the needs of end-users, a series of semi-structured interviews was conducted.

Background: Remote unsupervised cognitive assessments have the potential to complement and facilitate cognitive assessment in clinical and research settings.
Method: Here we evaluate the usability, validity and reliability of unsupervised remote memory assessments via mobile devices (see Figure 1) in individuals without dementia from the Swedish BioFINDER-2 study and explore their prognostic utility regarding future cognitive decline in combination with a plasma marker for p-tau217.
Result: Usability was rated positively.
