A method for calculation of the loss of energy by an organism of a patient at the time of gastric resection is presented. It is shown that for the 2h of operation, a patient losses the amount of energy which is almost equal to the basal metabolism for 24 hours.

Purpose: This research aimed to determine the relationship between work intensification and occupational fatigue in nurses using a cross-sectional and correlational design.
Methods: The sample included 597 nurses from public, private, and university hospitals in Istanbul, selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using the "Nurse Information Form," the "Intensification of Job Demands Scale," and the "Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion/Recovery Scale.

Objectives: To address the issue that most microsatellite-stable (MSS) and proficient mismatch repair (pMMR) metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patients have minimal response to immunotherapy, this meta-analysis evaluated the efficacy and safety of durvalumab and tremelimumab with concomitant treatment in treating MSS/pMMR metastatic colorectal cancer.
Methods: All included trials were prospective studies with a median patient age of 63 years, of which 94.2% were MSS/pMMR mCRC patients, with a male to female ratio of 1.
