New substituted thieno[3,2-c]pyridine derivatives 5 were synthesized by the reaction of 3-bromo-4-chlorothieno[3,2-c]pyridine 1 with cyclic amine 2, which further on Suzuki reaction with boronic acids 4 converted to corresponding 3-arylthieno[3,2-c]pyridine 5. Substituent R has predominant effect on fluorescence properties of thienopyridines. However, the electron donor amine at C has no effect on fluorescence properties of thienopyridines. Graphical Abstract New thieno[3,2-c]pyridine derivatives were synthesized from 3-bromo-4-chlorothieno[3,2-c]pyridine and cyclic amines, which by on Suzuki reaction with boronic acids converted to corresponding 3-arylthieno[3,2-c]pyridine. Substituent R3 has predominant effect on fluorescence properties of thienopyridines. However, the electron donor amine at C4 has no effect on fluorescence properties of thienopyridines.

In this report the photophysical property of newly synthesized fluorescein based derivative 2-(5-((2,4-dichlorophenyl)diazenyl)-6-hydroxy-3-oxo-3H-xanthen-9-yl)benzoic acid has studied by spectroscopic and theoretical that is by Density Functional Theory technique. The structural and functional group of the synthesized molecule was confirmed by nuclear magnetic resonance and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy technique, and from the result so far obtained has been confirmed that molecule has a stable structure and confirmed the presence the functional groups present in the sample. The optical properties of the molecule are studied using the spectroscopic technique and it has revealed the solute-solvent interaction behaviour of the molecule and it has been observed that the bathochromic shift was of about 5 nm, from the fluorescence measurement it has revealed that the emission has been observed at green region and from the power spectra it has been confirmed the same.

New hybrids were synthesised by linking carboranes and siloles, both of which are known as aggregation-induced emission active units. Although most of the newly synthesised systems do not display notable quantum yield either in solution or in the aggregated state, they emit strongly in the solid-state, and a quantum yield of up to 100% can be achieved. The tailorable quantum yield can be attributed to the packing of the molecules in the crystal lattice ruled by the carborane and phenyl moieties according to the SC-XRD data.

Self-Diffusion of Star and Linear Polyelectrolytes in Salt-Free and Salt Solutions.

This work explored solution properties of linear and star poly(methacrylic acids) with four, six, and eight arms (PMAA, 4PMAA, PMAA, and 8PMAA, respectively) of matched molecular weights in a wide range of pH, salt, and polymer concentrations. Experimental measurements of self-diffusion were performed by fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS), and the results were interpreted using the scaling theory of polyelectrolyte solutions. While all PMAAs were pH sensitive and showed an increase in hydrodynamic radius ( ) with pH in the dilute regime, the of star polymers (measured at basic pH values) was significantly smaller for the star polyacids due to their more compact structure.

Background: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) stands as the sixth most common cause of cancer-related mortality on a global scale, with a strikingly high proportion-over half-of these fatalities occurring within China. The emergence of radiation resistance in ESCC patients significantly diminishes overall survival rates, complicating treatment regimens and reducing clinical outcomes. There is an urgent need to explore the molecular mechanisms that underpin radiation resistance in ESCC, which could lead to the identification of new therapeutic targets aimed at overcoming this resistance.
