Purpose: To examine current practices and recommendations regarding clinical supervision from the perspective of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practitioners in Australia.

Methods: A qualitative study design consisting of semi-structured interviews with 14 PBS practitioners.

Results: Positive supervision experiences revealed the importance of "a supportive relationship", "supporting reflective practice", and "different supervisors fulfilling different needs.

Background: Many organizations are faced with growing numbers of employees who combine their jobs with informal caregiving responsibilities. To support working caregivers in maintaining a good balance between work, private life and informal care, a workplace participatory approach (PA) intervention was implemented in four Dutch organizations. This study's aims were to evaluate the degree of PA implementation, contextual factors influencing implementation, and stakeholder experiences with the PA.

Rater effects in evaluating therapist competencies using structured case reports: A mixed-methods study.

This study applied a mixed-methods approach to investigate rater effects that might affect case report evaluation in China. In the quantitative phase, we randomly assigned 210 mental health professionals to the experienced or novice ratee condition to rate the same structured case report on assessment and formulation, intervention strategy, relationship, and self-reflection. The qualitative phase was subsequently conducted to help make sense of the results.

Background: Interviewers' judgements play a critical role in competency-based assessments for selection such as the multiple-mini-interview (MMI). Much of the published research focuses on the psychometrics of selection and the impact of rater subjectivity. Within the context of selecting for entry into specialty postgraduate training, we used an interpretivist and socio-constructivist approach to explore how and why interviewers make judgments in high stakes selection settings whilst taking part in an MMI.
