Hyperparathyroidism is a rare entity in pediatrics. It is defined as the increased production of parathyroid hormone. It may be due to a primary defect of the parathyroid glands (primary hyperparathyroidism) or to a compensatory parathyroid hormone production to correct hypocalcemia states of various origins (secondary hyperparathyroidism).

This article explores the link between traumatic infections caused by road traffic accidents (RTAs) leading to coma and the development of chest infections caused by extensively drug-resistant (XDR) <i>Klebsiella pneumoniae</i> and <i>Pseudomonas aeruginosa</i>. <b>Materials and Methods:</b> The study was carried out from March to December 2022 which included a 45-year-old male patient admitted to the ICU of Al Ramadi Teaching Hospitals following a severe RTA that resulted in a TBI and subsequent coma.

The aim of this study is to describe the management and evolution of a patient with the rare condition of double lactotroph tumors and assess the role of intraoperative ultrasonography (IOUS) for their detection and methylation-based liquid biopsy for their diagnosis and monitoring. A 29-year-old woman diagnosed with double lactotroph tumors through hormonal and MRI workup underwent surgical resection due to cabergoline intolerance. To detect a tumor missing through visual inspection, IOUS was performed.

Myxomatosis, caused by myxoma virus (MYXV), is a fatal disease of the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus). It has a worldwide distribution and has become an endemic disease throughout Europe since its introduction into the rabbit population in 1950. This study describes the first outbreak caused by MYXV in Finland in summer 2020.

Objective: Aortic valve repair/sparing have been established as effective treatments for aortic regurgitation and/or aortic aneurysms. However, concerns remain regarding long-term durability, reproducibility, and patient selection. This study aims to asses long-term clinical and echocardiographic outcomes, with a focus on aortic regurgitation grade and left ventricular ejection fraction evolution, in adults undergoing these procedures.
