The epidural injection is a medical intervention to inject therapeutics directly into the vicinity of the spinal cord for pain management. Because of its proximity to the spinal cord, imprecise insertion of the needle may result in irreversible damage to the nerves or spinal cord. This study explores enhancing procedural accuracy by integrating a telerobotic system and augmented reality (AR) assistance.

White coats, traditionally symbols of physicians' hygiene and professionalism, are now scrutinized for potential infection risks during patient interactions. This review investigates whether wearing white coats is linked to microbial contamination, infection transmission, and patient expectations. An umbrella review of peer-reviewed studies and guidelines was conducted, with searches in PubMed/Medline and Scopus using terms related to medical attire, infection control, patient perceptions, and discrimination.

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that 180,000 patients die from burns every year, which is considered a serious public health issue. Patients with burns require immediate pre-hospital care and transport to specialized treatment facilities. The aim of this study was to outline the profile of the burn patient from the perspective of the Polish Medical Air Rescue (PMAR), as well as to analyze the medical procedures being implemented.

: Spontaneous nystagmus during vertigo attacks of Menière's disease has been essentially described as horizontal, beating ipsilaterally (irritative type) or contralaterally (deficit type) to the hearing loss. Our main objective was to describe the characteristics of nystagmus during vertigo attacks. The second objective was to determine the feasibility of self-video recording of eye movements by a mobile phone.
