Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were collected from a patient with treatment-refractory Schizophrenia who presented an exceptional clinical response to Clozapine. iPSC lines were established with a non-integrating reprogramming system based on Sendai virus. A footprint-free hiPSC line was characterized to confirm the expression of the main endogenous pluripotency markers and have a regular karyotype. Pluripotency was confirmed by differentiation into cells belonging to the three germ layers. This hiPSC line represents a valuable tool to study the molecular, biochemical and electrophysiological properties of mature neuronal populations belonging to Clozapine responder patients with a severe form of Schizophrenia.

Objective: The occurrence of hypofibrinogenemia after tocilizumab treatment has attracted increasing attention, which may cause bleeding and even life-threatening. This study aims to explore the risk factors for tocilizumab-induced hypofibrinogenemia (T-HFIB) and construct a risk prediction model.

Methods: A total of 221 inpatients that received tocilizumab from 2015 to 2023 were retrospectively collected and divided into T-HFIB group or control group.

Background: Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) is the most common liver disorder associated with pregnancy and is usually diagnosed based on high serum bile acid. However, the pathogenesis of ICP is unclear. Ferroptosis has been reported as an iron-dependent mechanism of cell death.

Long dsRNA induces the expression of type I interferons (IFNs) and IFN-stimulated genes (ISGs) to establish an antiviral state. When induced prophylactically, this antiviral state can reduce the severity and mortality of viral infections. One of the limiting factors in delivering dsRNA in animal models is the lack of an effective carrier that protects the dsRNA from degradation in the extracellular space.

Background: Polo-like kinase 2 (PLK2) is associated with cardiac fibrosis in patients with atrial fibrillation. However, the role of PLK2 in sepsis-induced cardiac injury has not been fully elucidated. We hypothesize that PLK2 may participate in the progression of sepsis-induced cardiac injury.

Purpose: This study aimed to compare systemic immune responses and metastatic effects induced by radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and irreversible electroporation (IRE) in murine tumor models. We assessed cytokine production, growth of treated and untreated metastatic tumors, and synergy with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs).

Materials And Methods: Hep55.
