Methods: This scoping review focused on individuals at risk of harming others due to mental health issues, with the target population encompassing three settings: the community, inpatient facilities with frequent admissions and discharges, and healthcare settings where medical treatment is sought. A scoping review was conducted according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews.

Background And Objectives: Retrospective studies examining errors within a surgical scheduling setting do not fully represent the effects of human error involved in transcribing critical patient health information (PHI). These errors can negatively impact patient care and reduce workplace efficiency due to insurance claim denials and potential sentinel events. Previous reports underscore the burden physicians face with prior authorizations which may lead to serious adverse events or the abandonment of treatment due to these delays.

Months of exposure and the threat of death can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and high physical and emotional strain can lead to burnout syndrome (BOS). The purpose of this study was to assess the prevalence of PTSD and BOS among ICU HCWs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
