Visual toxicities from ethambutol are rare but represent one of the few causes of non-glaucomatous and non-compressive bitemporal hemianopsia. The authors present a six-patient case series illustrating variable clinical presentation and reversibility of visual loss in patients treated with ethambutol for complex, including four patients who presented with visual field defects suggestive of bitemporal hemianopsia. Two additional patients were being followed for glaucoma, developed visual field defects with ethambutol treatment, and subsequently recovered with cessation of drug. In patients being treated with ethambutol, reversible bitemporal hemianopsia was the most commonly noted presentation of ethambutol toxicity.

Humans can estimate the time and position of a moving object's arrival. However, numerous studies have demonstrated superior position estimation accuracy for descending objects compared with ascending objects. We tested whether the accuracy of position estimation for ascending and descending objects differs between the upper and lower visual fields.

Due to the constraints of the tobacco leaf curing environment and computational resources, current image classification models struggle to balance recognition accuracy and computational efficiency, making practical deployment challenging. To address this issue, this study proposes the development of a lightweight classification network model for recognizing tobacco leaf curing stages (TCSRNet). Firstly, the model utilizes an Inception structure with parallel convolutional branches to capture features at different receptive fields, thereby better adapting to the appearance variations of tobacco leaves at different curing stages.

Background And Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate whether preoperative oral prednisolone improves the intraoperative parameters and postoperative outcomes over a 3-month period in patients of sinonasal polyposis who undergo functional endoscopic sinus surgery.
Methods: In a triple-blind, randomized controlled study, 43 patients diagnosed with sinonasal polyposis in the Department of ENT, AIIMS, Jodhpur, were enrolled. After obtaining institutional ethics clearance and registering the clinical trial, randomization was conducted to assign participants into experimental and control groups.
