Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the perception and understanding of the information provided by ChatGPT regarding myopia among optometry students, optometrists undertaking a Master degree and practicing optometrists.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional descriptive study using a structured questionnaire distributed via Wooclap to 225 participants (125 optometry students, 21 Masters students and 79 practicing optometrists). All participants evaluated the responses generated by ChatGPT Version 4.

Acute acquired comitant esotropia (AACE) is a concomitant strabismus characterized by sudden onset, mostly associated with diplopia. The prevalence of AACE has significantly increased, and various management approaches have been recommended in recent years. This study by the Council of Asia-Pacific Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology Society aimed to provide an overview of the clinical features, etiology and the nonsurgical and surgical treatment recommendations for the condition to equip strabismus specialists with the most updated knowledge.

: As Repeated Low-Level Red Light (RLRL) therapy is becoming increasingly prevalent in clinical practice, mainly in the Far East, largely due to its child-friendly nature and the feasibility of home use, this study aims to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy of RLRL therapy in managing childhood myopia, specifically in relation to axial length (AL) and spherical equivalent refraction (SER), across a larger group of children aged from 6 to 16 years. : A systematic literature search was performed using PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science to access relevant databases and to locate outcome studies. Eligibility criteria included publication type, participant characteristics, and outcomes report.
