The anterior petroclinoid fold (APF) is a ligamentous structure consisting of collagen fiber and extends from the petrous apex to the anterior clinoid process. During the surgical clipping of some posterolaterally projecting posterior communicating artery aneurysms, it may pose a technical challenge due to obscuration of the aneurismal neck by the APF. Herein, the authors describe a simple and effective technique utilizing fenestration of the APF to facilitate visualization and surgical clipping of these aneurysms. To the best knowledge of us, this technique of the APF fenestration has been reported in only a few patients.

Background: The International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery hosted the third in a series of webinars focused on innovative endoscopic spine surgery techniques. This session aimed to discuss and evaluate advanced treatments for lumbar spinal stenosis and related conditions utilizing multiportal endoscopic approaches; articulating instruments; unilateral biportal endoscopy; transforaminal techniques for facet cysts, herniated disc, and spinal stenosis; as well as percutaneous endoscopic lumbar interbody fusion (PELIF).
Objective: To analyze the level of surgeon endorsement for the presented endoscopic spine surgery techniques before and after the webinar, utilizing polytomous Rasch analysis, and to evaluate the potential for these insights to inform clinical guideline recommendations.

Objectives: This study aimed to quantitatively analyze the effects of neuromuscular training (NMT) on dynamic balance in healthy athletes through a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
Methods: Searches on six databases for randomized controlled trials examining the impact of NMT on athletes' balance ability. The search period extended from the inception of the database to March 16, 2024, languages are limited to Chinese and English.

Lacrosse, a sport of increasing popularity, is played with netted sticks and a firm rubber ball propelled at speeds frequently reaching over 100 miles/hour. While lacrosse injuries have been previously described, little published literature exists on lacrosse balls causing pulmonary contusion. We present a case of a 17-year-old male lacrosse player athlete who suffered a lacrosse ball strike to the left posterolateral chest, leading to a clinical presentation of local bruising, shortness of breath, and hemoptysis.
