Objectives: Population ageing and the rise in chronic diseases place continual stress on healthcare systems. Scarce resources often impede equitable access to healthcare, particularly in rural areas, resulting in prolonged waiting times and heightened risks of morbidity and mortality. Telemedicine has emerged as a promising solution, offering remote and equitable care that could potentially bridge access gaps and enhance health outcomes.

Objectives: To investigate patients' perspectives on using the LEANBH app (home Blood Pressure BP monitoring system) and the Microlife Watch BP home monitor in a tertiary maternity hospital setting during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Study Design: 134 Participants were asked to complete an anonymous usability questionnaire on their experience of LEANBH and the Microlife Watch. The questionnaire consisted of 5 background demographics, 9 items from the system usability scale (SUS), 14 items on the usability of the LEANBH app, and 6 on the acceptability of Microlife.

Introduction: Emerging evidence shows positive impact of postprofessional physical therapy education (residency and fellowship) specific to participants; however, outcomes on organizational impact are largely unknown. The purpose of this project was to describe the impact residency and fellowship training has on financial metrics. A secondary purpose of this case study was to describe trends associated with higher productivity.

Efforts to improve healthcare services have been ongoing, particularly in equipping emergency departments (EDs) to handle pediatric cases. However, many EDs continue to lack specialized equipment and adequately trained personnel, exposing children to significant health risks. This study aimed to identify self-reported barriers among emergency physicians in managing pediatric patients and assess their confidence levels in pediatric care.

Background: A shift toward outpatient parathyroidectomy was seen in the early 2000s. Recent trends, especially for secondary and tertiary hyperparathyroidism, have not been described. This study evaluates temporal trends in same-day, overnight, and inpatient parathyroidectomy by surgical indication.
