We present here a case of a 42-year-old woman diagnosed with primary neuroendocrine carcinoma of the breast (NECB). We discuss the importance of histological criteria for primary neuroendocrine mammary carcinoma, established by WHO in 2003 and 2012. After an overview of different cases of primary neuroendocrine carcinoma of the breast published in the literature, we present information about differential diagnosis, prognostic factors, and surgical and adjuvant treatment. Prognosis of NECB is not different from that of other invasive breast carcinomas and the most important prognostic factor is tumor grade (G). There is no standard treatment and patients should be treated similarly to patients with invasive ductal carcinoma, NOS (not otherwise specified), whose choice of therapy depends on tumor's size, degree of differentiation, clinical stage, and hormonal status.

Introduction: Functioning neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) that do not respond to standard therapies are commonly considered for Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT). The benefit of Lu-DOTATATE PRRT in patients with progressive metastatic NET was analyzed and survival in multi-organ involvement.

Methods: Forty-one patients with refractory, progressive, or advanced symptomatic NETs, with or without previous treatment modalities were studied.

Purpose: After failing primary and secondary hormonal therapy, castration-resistant and neuroendocrine prostate cancer metastatic to the bone is invariably lethal, although treatment with docetaxel and carboplatin can modestly improve survival. Therefore, agents targeting biologically relevant pathways in PCa and potentially synergizing with docetaxel and carboplatin in inhibiting bone metastasis growth are urgently needed.

Experimental Design: Phosphorylated (activated) AXL expression in human prostate cancer bone metastases was assessed by immunohistochemical staining.

Prostate cancer is the second most common type of cancer in male worldwide. Stromal-epithelial interaction is thought to have a major impact on cancer development and progression. Previous studies have shown that interaction via soluble factors lead to a reduction in the expression of xCT and AL122023.

Background: Insulinoma is a neuroendocrine tumor, the main manifestation of which is hypoglycemia. However, the symptoms of hypoglycemia can be non-specific for a long time, especially outside provocative conditions, and quite often the tumor manifests from a life-threatening condition - hypoglycemic coma. In this regard, timely laboratory diagnosis of insulinoma and determination of its aggressive course is one of the priorities in modern researches.

Delta-like protein (DLL3) is a novel therapeutic target. DLL3 expression in gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NECs) is poorly understood, complicating the distinction between well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors G3 (NET G3) and poorly differentiated NEC. DLL3 immunohistochemistry (IHC) was performed on 248 primary GEP-NECs, correlating with clinicopathological parameters, NE markers, PD-L1, Ki67 index, and prognosis.
