The article presents the results of measuring the anterior hypophysis lobe, thyroid and adrenocortical hormones basal secretion in epileptic children and adolescents measured during the anticonvulsant therapy. The peculiarities of functional state of endocrine glands in epileptic patients were compared to those in healthy adolescents and children. Analyzed was their dependence on the nature, course and clinical manifestations of the disease, the course and efficiency of anticonvulsant therapy.
