Objective: Emerging studies have identified treatment-related connectome predictors in major depressive disorder (MDD). However, quantifying treatment-responsive patterns in structural connectivity (SC) and functional connectivity (FC) simultaneously remains underexplored. We aimed to evaluate whether spatial distributions of FC and SC associated treatment responses are shared or unique.

Introduction: In pediatric and adolescent population, autoimmune encephalitis (AE) may present with a wide variety of symptoms including cognitive regression accompanied with loss of language skills. Despite its high prevalence in AE, linguistic functions have not been investigated in extensive detail.
Case: A 12-year-old girl with no significant premorbid history and normal school performance presented with fever, hypersomnia, nocturnal myoclonus and behavioral changes.

Objective: Striatal dopamine dysfunction caused by cortical abnormalities is a leading hypothesis of schizophrenia. Although prefrontal cortical pathology is negatively correlated with striatal dopamine synthesis, the relationship between structural frontostriatal connectivity and striatal dopamine synthesis has not been proved in patients with schizophrenia with different treatment response. We therefore investigated the relationship between frontostriatal connectivity and striatal dopamine synthesis in treatment-responsive schizophrenia (non-TRS) and compared them to treatment-resistant schizophrenia (TRS) and healthy controls (HC).

Objective: The clinical response of patients with bipolar disorder to medical treatment is variable. A better understanding of the underlying neural circuitry involved in bipolar treatment responsivity subtypes may provide insight into treatment resistance and aid in identifying an effective surgical target for deep brain stimulation (DBS) specific to the disorder. Despite considerable imaging research related to the disease, a paucity of comparative imaging analyses of treatment responsiveness exists.
