With this study, 28 pools of snails of the genus , respectively (n=24) and (n=4) were analysed. They were taken from snail farming and stores. The snails were from Sardinia, other regions of Italy, and from abroad. All the samples were examined as pool looking for these microbiological target: spp., , O157, , Norovirus and Hepatitis A Virus (HAV). In the same pools, the concentration of cadmium and lead by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry was also determined. The levels of these heavy metals were quite high, especially for cadmium. Two samples were positive for spp., while no sample was positive for O157, HAV and Norovirus. Two samples were positive for and 8 for . The microrganisms related to were identified using biochemical techniques, then serotyped and gene sequenced by multiple loci sequence typing technique. Furthermore, antimicrobial restistence was tested on the same samples.

Following the (revised) latent state-trait theory, the present study investigates the within-subject reliability, occasion specificity, common consistency, and construct validity of cognitive control measures in an intensive longitudinal design. These indices were calculated applying dynamic structural equation modeling while accounting for autoregressive effects and trait change. In two studies, participants completed two cognitive control tasks (Stroop and go/no-go) and answered questions about goal pursuit, self-control, executive functions, and situational aspects, multiple times per day.

Previous observational studies have suggested at a potential link between migraine, particularly migraine with aura, and the susceptibility to early-onset ischemic stroke. We aimed to investigate the causal effects of genetically determined migraine and its subtypes on the risk of early-onset ischemic stroke using the two-sample Mendelian randomization method. Genetic instrumental variables associated with migraine and its subtypes were acquired from two sources with the largest sample sizes available.
