A novel energetic heat-resistant explosive, 1-(3,5-dinitro-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-3-nitro-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-amine (HCPT), has been synthesized along with its salts. An intensive characterization of the compounds is given, including H and C NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. The crystal structures of neutral HCPT (3), its triaminoguanidinium salt (10), 3,4,5-triamino-1,2,4-triazolium salt (12), and copper(ii) complex (16) were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The physicochemical properties of the compounds, such as density, thermal stability, and sensitivity towards impact and friction were evaluated; all energetic compounds exhibited excellent thermal stabilities with decomposition temperatures ranging from 215 °C to 340 °C, and high positive heats of formation between 622.8 kJ mol and 1211.7 kJ mol. The detonation pressures and velocities for the energetic compounds were calculated using EXPLO5 (V6.01) based on experimental densities and calculated heats of formation, and the corresponding values were in the ranges of 26.5 GPa to 37.8 GPa and 8236 m s to 9167 m s. Based on thermal stability values and energetic parameters, compounds 3 and 7 were superior to those of all of the commonly used heat-resistant explosives, which may find potential application as heat-resistant energetic materials.

Conventional chemotherapy drugs are difficult to effectively target tumor tissue, leading to poor treatment outcomes and side effects. Actively targeted and stimuli-responsive nanomedicine greatly improves this situation, allowing for more precise drug accumulation at tumor sites. Herein, carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin (CMCD) - based host-guest nanocomposites (NPs) encapsulating hydroxycamptothecin (HCPT) were fabricated, which responded to esterase and had the function of targeting CD 44 receptors and the nucleus.

Reversing the hypoxic microenvironment of tumors is an important method to enhance the synergistic effect of tumor treatment. In this work, we developed the nanoparticles called Ce6@HGMOF, which consists of a photosensitizer (Ce6), glucose oxidase (GOX), chemotherapy drugs (HCPT) and an iron-based metal-organic framework (MOF). Ce6@HGMOF can consume glucose in tumor cells through "starvation therapy", cut off their nutrition source, and produce gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide (HO).

Hydroxycamptothecin (HCPT) is commonly used in the treatment of liver cancer; however, its low water solubility and poor stability significantly limit its clinical application. In recent years, research on exosomes has deepened considerably. Exosomes possess a unique phospholipid bilayer structure, enabling them to traverse tissue barriers, which provides natural advantages as drug carriers.

In this study, we developed the ginger vesicles as nanocarrier for the targeted delivery of 10-hydroxy-camptothecin (HCPT), aiming to improve its therapeutic efficacy while minimizing the systemic toxicity. Ginger vesicles exhibit a wide spectrum of biological activities and excellent biocompatibility, rendering them as the promising nanocarriers candidates for anticancer drug delivery. The ginger vesicles with an average diameter of 86.
