The thermal reaction of C with aromatic aldehydes and inactive secondary amines for the stereoselective synthesis of trans-1,2,5-trisubstituted fulleropyrrolidines has been developed. Moreover, when an o-hydroxyl group was located at the phenyl ring of the generated fulleropyrrolidines, the Cu(OAc)-promoted regioselective intramolecular C-O coupling reaction occurred to generate unique tricycle-fused fullerene derivatives.

Purpose: Sedentary behavior (SB) contributes to the heightened risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in endometrial cancer survivors (ECS). This feasibility study aimed to evaluate key outcomes to assess the practicality of SB reduction interventions for ECS. Secondary aims included SB domain assessment and preliminary efficacy testing of the relationship between SB and arterial stiffness.

Topoisomerases I and II are the functionally two forms of DNA topoisomerase. In anticancer research, novel anticancer chemotherapeutical capable of blocking topoisomerase enzymes have been discovered. Most commonly, topoisomerase causes replication fork arrest and doublestrand breaks, and this is how a clinically successful topoisomerase-targeting anticancer medicines work.

Fifty-nine inactive academics were randomly assigned to a CT ( = 29) or control (non-exercise) group ( = 30). CT performed supervised group training at an onsite facility 3 times per week for 14-weeks.

Aim: Exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation (exCR) reduces morbidity and mortality after acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Little is known about physical activity levels at exCR program completion and associated demographic, medical, and psychosocial factors.
Methods: Cross-sectional data from the ongoing Keep-Up-Going study was used, including 100 participants with recent ACS and >80% attendance to 3 months supervised exCR program.

Adolescence is a vulnerable period for the onset of mental disorders and risk behaviours. Whole-school interventions hold vast potential in improving mental health and preventing risk behaviours in this developmentally-sensitive cohort. Modelled on the World Health Organisation's Health-Promoting Schools Framework, whole-school interventions aspire for change across eight domains: (i) school curriculum, (ii) school social-emotional environment, (iii) school physical environment, (iv) school governance and leadership, (v) school policies and resources, (vi) school and community partnerships, (vii) school health services and (viii) government policies and resources.
