Background: Bilateral trigeminal neuralgia secondary to multiple sclerosis is an extremely rare condition. When Gasserian ganglion block is performed, it is necessary to achieve reliable long-term analgesic effects while avoiding treatment-related complications.
Case Presentation: A 49-year-old male with multiple sclerosis exhibited persistent dull pain and paroxysmal electric shock-like pain in his bilateral maxillary molars and mandible.

Lead, a prevalent heavy metal, impairs the immune system by affecting T cell function. Similarly, zinc deficiency adversely affects T cells, with zinc deficiency and lead exposure being linked to reduced interleukin-2 (IL-2) production. Zinc deficiency has been associated with increased expression of the transcription factor CREM 100 kDa, which downregulates IL-2.

Neonates exhibit pain responses characterized by various endocrinal changes, including alterations in cortisone and oxytocin serum levels, as well as physiological and emotional reactions. The administration of neonatal pain management leads to the normalization of endocrine hormones, including cortisone and oxytocin, which are affected by the presence of neonatal pain. Diagnosing neonatal pain is complex; however, effective management is essential.
