Near-infrared (NIR)-triggered type-I photosensitizers are crucial to address the constraints of hypoxic tumor microenvironments in phototherapy; however, significant challenges remain. By selecting an electron-deficient unit, a matched energy gap in the upper-level state is instrumental in boosting the efficiency of intersystem crossing for the type-I electron transfer process. 2-Cyanothiazole, an electron acceptor, is covalently linked with N, N-diphenyl-4-(thiophen-2-yl)aniline to yield a multifunctional photosensitizer (TTNH) that exhibits intrinsic NIR absorbance and compatible T energy levels, facilitating both radiative and nonradiative transitions.

Background: Bryk, 1949 (Erebidae, Herminiinae) is a medium-sized, frail-bodied genus of moths that externally resembles other genera in the generic complex. All known larvae of this genus feed on fresh leaves of moss. This genus is widely distributed from the Himalayas to Southeast Asia, Japan, Borneo, Sulawesi and New Guinea.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance for medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) based on the 2017 Thyroid Imaging Reporting and Data System by the American College of Radiology (ACR TI-RADS) guideline, and the ability to recommend fine needle aspiration (FNA) for MTC.
Methods: Fifty-six MTCs were included, and 168 benign thyroid nodules (BTNs) and 168 papillary thyroid nodules (PTCs) were matched according to age. Ultrasound (US) features were reviewed according to ACR TI-RADS.

Objective: Lower limb malalignment can complicate symptoms and accelerate knee osteoarthritis (OA), necessitating consideration in study population selection. In this study, we develop and validate a deep learning model that classifies leg alignment as "normal" or "malaligned" from knee antero-posterior (AP)/postero-anterior (PA) radiographs alone, using an adjustable hip-knee-ankle (HKA) angle threshold.
Material And Methods: We utilized 8878 digital radiographs, including 6181 AP/PA full-leg x-rays (LLRs) and 2697 AP/PA knee x-rays (2292 with positioning frame, 405 without).

Unhealthy eating, a risk factor for eating disorders (EDs) and obesity, often coexists with emotional and behavioral problems; however, the underlying neurobiological mechanisms are poorly understood. Analyzing data from the longitudinal IMAGEN adolescent cohort, we investigated associations between eating behaviors, genetic predispositions for high body mass index (BMI) using polygenic scores (PGSs), and trajectories (ages 14-23 years) of ED-related psychopathology and brain maturation. Clustering analyses at age 23 years ( = 996) identified 3 eating groups: restrictive, emotional/uncontrolled and healthy eaters.
