Design, Setting, And Participants: This cohort study was conducted within the Cross Cohort Collaboration Tobacco Working Group by harmonizing tobacco-related data and conducting a pooled analysis from 15 US-based prospective cohorts with data on the use of at least 1 noncigarette tobacco product ranging between 1948 and 2015.

Background: The Family Income-to-Poverty-Ratio (FIPR) is a recognized indicator of socioeconomic status, and influences a wide range of health and behavioral outcomes. Yet, marginalized and racialized groups, particularly Black individuals, may not reap comparable health benefits from their socioeconomic advancements as their non-Hispanic, White counterparts. This discrepancy is indicative of a phenomenon known as the minorities' diminished returns.

Raynaud's phenomenon (RP) is a vascular disease characterized by exaggerated vasoconstriction in response to stressors, mainly cold and emotional stress. This vasoconstriction is mediated solely by alpha 2C-adrenoceptors (α-AR) expressed in vascular smooth muscle cells of dermal arterioles. Several factors, among which is cigarette smoking, are associated with aggravated symptoms of and increased risk for RP.

Owing to the vital role played by dentists in patient education and due to the growing popularity of e-cigarette use among the younger population, this cross-sectional study aimed to assess the use, knowledge, beliefs, and attitudes toward e-cigarettes among dental students. A cross-sectional questionnaire was given between March and June of 2024 to undergraduate dental students in the Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab American University in Palestine. A 32-item questionnaire with five sections, namely demographics, smoking habits, knowledge, beliefs and attitude, and education about e-cigarettes was sent to all appropriate participants (N = 1050).
