Limb shaking is a paroxysmal involuntary hyperkinetic movement that may be a presentation of severe unilateral steno-occlusive carotid disease. This unusual form of transient ischemic attack (TIA) is often misdiagnosed as focal motor seizures, especially with frequent repetition. We present a case of 67-year-old man with severe unilateral carotid stenosis leading to frequent left arm shaking TIAs.

It is important to diagnose this pathology as early as possible and to plan further optimal care of patients in order to minimize life-threatening complications. The aim of this study was to analyze the frequency of cases of invasive placenta, the peculiarities of their clinical manifestation in women who gave birth from 2006 to 2015, to evaluate diagnostic and treatment options of this pathology, and to review their changes when the level of services provided by the institution changes.

Introduction: The hyperperfusion syndrome (HS) is described as an infrequent complication of carotid endarterectomy. It may also occur in percutaneous transluminal carotid angioplasty with a similar causal mechanism and clinical features to those seen in HS related to carotid endarterectomy.
Clinical Case: We describe the case of a 69 year old man who developed HS at the time of transluminal carotid angioplasty and 'stenting' of symptomatic, pre-occlusive stenosis of the left internal carotid artery.
