Background: Registered nurses are ethically and professionally obligated to foster sustainable and respectful workplaces. However, when transitioning to academia, many nurses encounter unexpected challenges, including hierarchical and individualistic environments that contrast with the collaborative ethos of clinical practice.
Method: This qualitative study explored the experiences of 11 registered nurses from six Australian universities as they transitioned into academic roles.

Bone sarcomas, constituting less than 1% of malignant neoplasms across all age groups, are rare tumours possibly associated with genetic susceptibility syndromes. This review aims to provide recommendations for the detection of cancer predisposition syndromes associated with bone sarcomas and managing affected patients. Recommendations were formulated by a multidisciplinary working and reviewing group from GROUPOS and SFCE oncogenetic's group, including geneticists, oncologists, and radiologists.

Introduction: Exogenous and endogenous sex hormones, especially Progesterone agonists, may be causally linked to meningioma progression. Cessation of treatment leads to stabilization or regression of Progestin-induced meningioma. In many cases, avoiding sex hormone therapy may be possible in the context of meningioma treatment.

Most qualitative health research is subject to ethics review and approval by a research ethics committee (REC). While many studies have identified the challenges that current ethics review practices pose to qualitative health research, there is currently a call to move the research focus from the shortcomings of ethics review practices to the possibilities for improvement. The aim of this grounded theory study was to identify possibilities for improvement of current ethics review practices which can count on endorsement from qualitative health researchers and members of REC alike.
