The Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of dexketoprofen trometamol, meloxicam, diclofenac sodium on any untreated alveolar bone when they are used as drugs for another indication.
Materials And Methods: Twenty eight male Spraque-Dawley rats were randomized into four groups as dexketoprofen trometamol (Group I), meloxicam (Group II), diclofenac sodium (Group III) and control group. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) were administered after a fibula fracture for 10 days. Untreated alveolar bone was histopathologically examined for spongious bone density, osteoclastic density and osteoblastic density.
Results: Spongious bone density was lower in study groups (Group I, group II and group III) than the control group (p<0.05). In contrast, the increase in osteoclastic density was observed in other groups apart from the control group (p<0.05). Osteoblastic density was evaluated and it was determined that group II and group III had lower results than the control group (p<0.05) but group I was equal to the control group.
Conclusion: This study showed that systemically administrated NSAIDs have the potential to affect untreated alveolar bone. This should also be considered in long term use of NSAIDs.

Background: The histologic classification of rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) as alveolar (aRMS) or embryonal (eRMS) is of prognostic importance, with the aRMS being associated with a worse outcome. Specific gene fusions (PAX3/7::FOXO1) found in the majority of aRMS have been recognized as markers associated with poor prognosis and are included in current risk stratification instead of histologic subtypes in localized disease. In metastatic disease, the independent prognostic significance of fusion status has not been definitively established.

This case report emphasizes the complexities involved in dental implant placement within the anterior esthetic zone, focusing on the integration of advanced surgical techniques and meticulous prosthetic design for optimal esthetic and functional results. A 28-year-old male presented with the absence of the upper left central incisor, which had been extracted 5 years prior due to fracture. Clinical and radiographic assessments indicated normal alveolar bone levels; however, the esthetic demands required a specialized approach.

Objectives: To investigate the correlation between gingival thickness (GT) and buccal bone thickness (BBT), as well as the effects of GT, BBT, bone crest level (BC), and tooth position on the buccal gingival margin location of maxillary teeth in the esthetic zone.
Materials And Methods: Periodontally healthy subjects with prior cone beam computed tomography and intraoral scans for dental implant planning were included. The hard and soft tissue measurements were retrospectively analyzed digitally.

ALK-positive large B-cell lymphoma (ALK+ LBCL) is a rare neoplasm with an aggressive course and poor therapeutic response to the standard R-CHOP regimen. Owing to its negativity for usual B- and T-cell markers and immunopositivity for epithelial markers, it can be easily misdiagnosed if it is not contemplated. To study the clinicopathological parameters of cases of ALK+ LBCL diagnosed at our institution.

Aim: Neurodegenerative diseases are characterized by early increased beta-amyloid (Aβ) and decreased cerebrovascular reactivity. We investigated Aβ in gingiva, serum or hippocampus and neurovascular reactivity in basilar artery (BA) of periodontitis rats, to test the impact of Aβ on BA vasoreactivity ex vivo.
Materials And Methods: Periodontitis was induced in 32 rats using silk-ligation.
