Introduction: In recent years, the use of Clear aligners (CA) has been diffused among children and adolescents. This systematic review aimed to summarize the literature regarding the effects of CA therapy in growing patients, including dentoalveolar and skeletal effects, periodontal changes, and quality of life measurements.
Methods: An electronic search on four databases was performed until September 2023, and studies including patients <18 years, treated with CA were selected.

Ankyloglossia is a congenital, abnormally short, thickened, or tight lingual frenulum that restricts tongue mobility, which may impair the development of the lower face morphology, namely the occlusion and skeleton. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether and how the lingual frenotomy benefits the occlusion and lower face skeleton development. The authors, independently and in duplication, performed searches of PubMed, Cochrane Library, Medline, Web of Science, and Embase, introducing the following keywords: tongue tie, ankyloglossia, and short lingual frenum/frenulum, combined with malocclusion, lower face skeleton, and hyoid bone.

A Wi-Fi-sensing gesture control system for smart homes has been developed based on a theoretical investigation of the Fresnel region sensing model, addressing the need for non-contact gesture control in household environments. The system collects channel state information (CSI) related to gestures from Wi-Fi signals transmitted and received by network cards within a specific area. The collected data undergoes preprocessing to eliminate environmental interference, allowing for the extraction of complete gesture sets.

The maxillary anteriors play the most prominent role in an individual's aesthetics, speech, and majorly psychology. The impaction of maxillary anterior teeth can be a challenging orthodontic problem that can be managed by interceptive orthodontics in early mixed dentition. In this particular case report, interceptive orthodontics alone may not bring desirable results because two problems need to be dealt simultaneously, namely, intraosseous crowding and midline shift due to impaction on the affected quadrant.
