Aim: To evaluate if endodontic and fluoride treatment of the root before delayed replantation would render the tooth a favorable prognosis.
Methods: A 10-year-old boy reported 10 hours after he had avulsed his maxillary right permanent central incisor. The pulp and PDL cells were considered to be nonviable. Endodontic treatment for the tooth was performed extraorally and obturated with gutta-percha. Prior to replantation, the root was treated with 1.23% APSF for 15 minutes.
Result: An intraoral radiograph taken 6 months after replantation revealed narrowing of the PDL space around the replanted tooth due to apposition from the surrounding alveolar bone. A radiograph taken 5 years after replantation revealed no evidence of external root resorption. There was no abnormal mobility either.
Conclusion: Extraoral endodontic treatment and root treatment with 1.23% APSF prior to delayed replantation might prevent the occurrence of external root resorption.

The occurrence of different types of trauma concomitantly can complicate the establishment of the most appropriate treatment. This report describes the clinical management of orofacial trauma including multiple avulsions, lateral luxation, alveolar fracture, and their sequelae after 7 years of follow-up. A 19-year-old woman presented to emergency care 4 hours after an accidental fall that resulted in the avulsion of teeth #8, #9, and #25; a complicated crown fracture and lateral luxation of tooth #7; an uncomplicated crown fracture of tooth #10; and a fracture of the maxillary alveolar bone.

Introduction: The British Society for Surgery of the Hand's (BSSH) Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) guidelines recommend that surgery for traumatic amputations of the digits is ideally performed during normal working hours even if this results in a delay of up to 24 hours.
Objective: To compare current practice against the BSSH GIRFT guideline regarding the timing of digital replantation and to compare the success rate of replantation performed within working hours (same or next day) and outside of working hours.
Materials And Methods: A single-centre retrospective analysis of two years of digital replantation was performed.

: A continuous obstacle that has limited access to and implementation of finger replantation surgery is timeliness, as ischemia time is traditionally considered a crucial factor for success. However, claims that the vitality of amputated fingers decreases after 6 h of warm ischemia and 12 h of cold ischemia are mostly based on theoretical considerations. : Here we present a case of multi-digit revascularization after 72 h of warm ischemia using the microsurgical arteriovenous bypass technique.

Background: Regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs) is effective for treating young permanent teeth with pulp necrosis. However, its efficacy on delayed replanted avulsed teeth is unclear.
Aim: This retrospective study aimed to assess the efficacy of REPs in treating delayed replanted immature permanent teeth with apical periodontitis.

Prolonged extra-oral period in dental avulsion is often associated with loss of viability of Periodontal fibroblasts (PDLF) and increased risk of ankylosis. Root surface treatment with bioactive agents to reduce the risk of ankylosis can be a potential strategy. The objective of the study was to investigate the impact of an engineered chitosan nanoparticles (CSNP), photosensitizer Rose Bengal (RB) functionalized CSNP (CSRB) and sustained dexamethasone (CSDEX) releasing CSNP for application in management of delayed replantation of avulsed teeth.
