Intrapericardial teratoma is a rare tumor that usually presents in neonates or during infancy because of the associated high degree of pericardial effusion, cardiac compression and severe respiratory distress. In this paper, we report a rare case of intrapericardial teratoma that was incidentally discovered in an infant with superior vena cava obstruction following pericardial effusion absorption. Echocardiography and thoracic computed tomography angiography revealed that the intrapericardial mass obviously suppressed the superior vena cava.

Thus, screening for hERG channel blockers is a crucial step in the drug development process. Background: Recent studies revealed an association between small kidney volume and progression of kidney dysfunction in particular settings such as kidney transplantation and transcatheter aortic valve implantation. We hypothesized that kidney volume was associated with the incidence of kidney-related adverse outcomes such as worsening renal function (WRF) in patients with acute heart failure (AHF).
Methods: This study was a single-center retrospective cohort study.

Objectives: To investigate whether a single session of aerobic exercise improves inhibitory control in preadolescent children and whether this effect is mediated by changes in parasympathetic activity.
Design: In this experimental study, an intervention and control group were pair-matched by age, sex and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity.
Method: 114 participants either completed a 20-min moderately-intense exercise bout on a cycling ergometer or watched a 20-min video.
