While attending RCN Congress in Bournemouth recently, I was intrigued to come into contact with a new form of species which Darwin had unwittingly omitted, namely clinicalus supervisisorus, commonly known as clinical supervision.

To investigate the diversity and evolution of noroviruses in Yantai in recent years, this study focused on the coat protein regions of norovirus-positive samples with nucleic acid detection (cycle threshold) values below 30 between 2017 and 2019. A total of 81 sequences were obtained for genotyping. Initially, a high-throughput sequencing approach was established to perform the whole-genome sequencing of multiple typical diarrheal strains.

Oxalate nephropathy is a rare cause of kidney failure. Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery is a technique used for surgical treatment of obesity as well as for the treatment of gastric carcinoma. We report the case of a 46-year-old male who was admitted to the nephrology department due to kidney dysfunction eight months after bariatric surgery.
