Solvability of a boundary value problem at resonance.

This paper concerns the solvability of a nonlinear fractional boundary value problem at resonance. By using fixed point theorems we prove that the perturbed problem has a solution, then by some ideas from analysis we show that the original problem is solvable. An example is given to illustrate the obatined results.

Domestic violence and abuse (DVA) is a global problem that affects approximately one in four women in their lifetime. An area of unexplored research is how women use a range of strategies to honor resistance, manage the risk, avoid abuse, and cope with the pain of DVA. Art-based methodology and interpretative phenomenological analysis approaches were used which determined seven strategies employed by women in order to survive DVA: apparent compliance; maintaining a sense of self; knowing boundaries; keeping hope in sight; imagining freedom; degrees of rebellion; and denial.

Philosophers of the historical sciences have focused to a significant extent on the problem of epistemic access facing these sciences: how do historical scientists overcome the relative scarcity of data about the past, compared to the present? Solving this problem usually requires solving another one, which I call the 'problem of ontic access:' how do historical scientists get access to entities and processes with properties that are potentially informative about the past? The case of geochronology illustrates one solution to this problem: historical scientists can get access to entities and processes with properties that are potentially informative about the past by exploiting the metaphysical structure of their domain. Geochronology experienced a spectacular explosion of its research boundaries in the 20th century. I explain this productivity by analyzing the ontology implicit in geochronological techniques.

Deep learning-based morphometric analysis of zebrafish is widely utilized for non-destructively identifying abnormalities and diagnosing diseases. However, obtaining discriminative and continuous organ category decision boundaries poses a significant challenge by directly observing zebrafish larvae from the outside.
