Professional practice models guide nursing practice by giving meaning to the work of nurses. They elevate the practice from tasks to theory, from skills to knowledge, and remind us that the patient and family are at the center of our practice. Professional practice models are one of the foundations of the Magnet Recognition Program. The purpose of this paper is to describe the development and implementation of a professional practice model in a healthcare system, which includes three hospitals and over 80 ambulatory practices in the New York City region.

Objective: Following a consultation received at the Legal Clinic of the University of Alcalá, it was necessary to determine whether or not a Research Ethics Committee was accredited. This led us to consider the need to determine whether the autonomous communities had reformed their legislation to establish the accreditation procedure for Research Ethics Committees, therefore adapting their legislation to Act 14/2007.
Methods: An analysis of the european, national and regional legislation regulating biomedical research in Spain was carried out to determine what the accreditation procedure for Research Ethics Committees was like in each autonomous community and whether it conformed to the provisions of Act 14/2007.

Our literature review describes the complicated intersection of the physician/surgeon's professional practice and their spouse/domestic partner, acknowledging that the existing literature specific to plastic surgeons is limited. Nevertheless, the broader research of physicians and other surgical fields identifies many risk factors for work-home conflicts, which can negatively impact the surgeon and the spouse. Furthermore, certain studied groups have other unique challenges and considerations, such as women surgeons, residents, and dual-physician couples.

Introduction: It is well-established in research that clinical learning during nursing education is a foundational preparation for future practice. However, the role of academic tasks, such as writing a bachelor's thesis, is less recognized for its contributions to nurses' working lives and overall professional development.
Objective: This study aimed to explore registered nurses' perceptions of the process of bachelor's thesis and its perceived usefulness in professional nursing careers.
