We propose and experimentally demonstrate a guideline of choosing optical delay time in an interferometry-based optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) monitor to achieve the optimal monitoring performance by calculating the normalized autocorrelation function of the channel noise. According to the position of the first zero point of the calculated autocorrelation function, the delay time is determined; consequently the OSNR monitoring range up to 29 dB (within an error≤±0.5 dB) is achieved for 112 Gb/s PM-QPSK signal with a channel filter bandwidth of 100 GHz. The experimental results also show that the guideline is applicable to channel filters with different bandwidths and shapes. In simulation, the guideline is proven to be valid in OSNR monitoring for a 28 Gbaud PM-16QAM signal and a 50 Gbaud PM-QPSK signal.

Study Objectives: Although heart rate variability (HRV), a marker of cardiac autonomic modulation (CAM), is known to predict cardiovascular morbidity, the circadian timing of sleep (CTS) is also involved in autonomic modulation. We examined whether circadian misalignment is associated with blunted HRV in adolescents as a function of entrainment to school or on-breaks.
Methods: We evaluated 360 subjects from the Penn State Child Cohort (median 16y) who had at least 3-night at-home actigraphy (ACT), in-lab 9-h polysomnography (PSG) and 24-h Holter-monitoring heart rate variability (HRV) data.

Purpose: To review hospitalized patients with Acute Retinal Necrosis (ARN) and investigate factors associated with subsequent retinal detachment (RD).
Study Design: Retrospective.
Methods: The study included 40 patients (42 eyes), categorized into non-RD (23 eyes) and RD (19 eyes) groups.
Venetoclax plus azacitidine represents a key advance for older, unfit patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The chemotherapy and venetoclax in elderly AML trial (CAVEAT) was first to combine venetoclax with intensive chemotherapy in newly diagnosed patients ≥65 years. In this final analysis, 85 patients (median age 71 years) were followed for a median of 41.

We report full quantum-computed average microcanonical, initial state-specific, and canonical cumulative time-delays associated with the O + O scattering, presented as a function of total energy (in relation to an idealized molecular beam experiment) or temperature (for the properties of the gas phase in bulk conditions). We show that these quantities are well-defined and computable, with a temperature-dependent (canonical) time-delay presenting a smooth, monotonic decreasing behavior with temperature, despite an energy-dependent (microcanonical) time-delay of apparent chaotic character. We discuss differences in behavior when considering isotopic variations, O + OO and O + OO, with respect to the reference process O + OO and reveal a greater magnitude of the cumulative time-delay when genuinely reactive events can take place, in the presence of O.
