Effort-induced axillary and/or subclavian vein thrombosis occurring in otherwise normal individuals is referred to as Paget-von Schroetter Syndrome (PVSS) or primary, effort-induced, upper extremity deep vein thrombosis (UEDVT). A 42-year old right-handed male presented with complaints of swelling over the left shoulder and arm and dull aching pain in the left arm for two days following regular lifting of heavy LPG gas cylinders. Left upper limb venous Doppler study revealed partial thrombus in the distal axillary vein and near total thrombus in the subclavian and basilic vein. He was managed with anticoagulation therapy.

Macrotrabecular-massive hepatocellular carcinoma (MTM-HCC) is a rare and aggressive molecular subtype of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) associated with a poor prognosis. Unlike typical HCC, which commonly arises in the context of cirrhosis, MTM-HCC can develop in non-cirrhotic livers, presenting unique diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. This case report describes a 35-year-old male who presented with persistent epigastric pain, fatigue, and loss of appetite.

This case report presents a 16-year-old basketball player, who developed deep venous thrombosis (DVT) following surgical intervention for a displaced tibial tuberosity fracture and forearm fractures. Despite few identifiable thrombotic risk factors, the patient's postoperative course was complicated by unexplained leg pain, fever, and ultimately confirmed DVT. Prompt management with therapeutic anticoagulation and multidisciplinary care led to favourable outcomes.

Background: This study analyzed the expression and diagnostic value of hsa_circ_101209 in plasma of pregnant women with in deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
Methods: By circRNA microarray detection and GO/KEGG analysis, hsa_circ_14797 targeting miRNA-mRNA network was predicted. Sixty women with DVT were selected as the DVT group, and 60 women without DVT as the non-DVT group.

Objectives: Evidences for anticoagulation strategies in cirrhotic with portal vein thrombosis (PVT) are still insufficient. This study aims to comprehensively compare the therapeutic effects of different therapeutic therapeutic measures in individuals suffering from cirrhosis with PVT, with the ultimate goal of providing evidence-based recommendations for thrombolytic therapy in this population.
Methods: Starting from 20 October 2023, a comprehensive search about therapeutic strategies for portal vein thrombosis in cirrhosis was conducted on PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library.
