Introduction: Mogamulizumab is an anti-C-C chemokine receptor 4 antibody that is increasingly being used to treat T-cell malignancies such as cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, adult T-cell leukemia-lymphoma, and peripheral T-cell lymphoma. Because CCR4 is expressed on both malignant T-cells and regulatory T-cells (Tregs), mogamulizumab can be associated with increased immune-related adverse events (irAEs). While there is abundant literature on mogamulizumab-associated rash (MAR) and graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), other reported irAEs have not been collated into a single review.

Recent studies on molecular pathways have elucidated novel therapeutic approaches in inflammatory and autoimmune skin disorders. Specifically, the dysregulation of the Janus kinase signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK-STAT) cascade plays a central role in the pathogenesis of many skin conditions. JAK inhibitors, with their ability to selectively target immune responses, are potential treatment options.

The phenomenon of coexisting autoimmune diseases (ADs) in patients with myasthenia gravis (MG) has attracted considerable attention. However, few studies have investigated the burden and potential clinical associations of ADs in Chinese MG cohorts. In this retrospective cross-sectional study, we reviewed the records of 1,132 patients with MG who were admitted to Huashan Hospital Fudan University from August 2013 to August 2020.

Objective: To investigate the risk of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs) in patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS).
Methods: Using 2003-2012 claims data from the Taiwanese National Health Insurance Research Database, we identified 30,911 newly diagnosed AS patients requiring medical therapy from 2006 to 2012. In addition, we randomly selected 309,110 non-AS individuals matching (1:10) the AS patients with regard to age, sex and the year of the index date.
