Health care information technology (IT) outages pose a threat to patient safety and patient care continuity. Organizations' downtime plans must be updated regularly and staff at the work area level should have experience with implementing IT outage operations through downtime drills. This article describes the study institution's IT Outage Toolkit, based on the acronym CLEAR, which guides the development of a downtime plan as well as design, execution, and assessment of work area downtime drills. Self-report and external audits of downtime drills help identify performance gaps and gaps in downtime plans.

This study provides a detailed characterization and evaluation of Claytone-EM as a rheological additive to enhance the performance of oil-based drilling fluids (OBDFs) under high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) conditions. It also offers a comparative evaluation of the effectiveness of Claytone-EM with an existing organoclay, analyzing their mineral and chemical compositions, morphologies, and particle sizes. A series of experiments are performed to evaluate Claytone-EM's influence on crucial drilling mud properties, such as mud density, electrical stability, sagging tendency, rheology, viscoelastic properties, and filtration properties, to formulate a stable and high-performing OBDF.

Pipe sticking is a major problem that can result in significant downtime, lost productivity, and increased costs. The aim of this study is to develop an accurate and effective predictive model for pipe sticking due to wellbore uncleanliness using a range of classification algorithms. In this research work, the drilling data from two different reservoirs in India was pre-processed and eviscerated to ensure that it was suitable to process using classification algorithms.

Background: Electronic health records (EHRs) are used at most hospitals around the world, and downtime events are inevitable and common. Downtime represents a risky time for patients because patient information and critical EHR functionality are unavailable. Many institutions have used EHRs for years, with health professionals less likely to be familiar or comfortable with paper-based processes, resulting in an increased risk of errors during downtimes.

In this article, an automated method for tool condition monitoring is presented. When producing items in large quantities, pointing out the exact time when the element needs to be exchanged is crucial. If performed too early, the operator gets rid of a good drill, also resulting in production downtime increase if this operation is repeated too often.
