Triceps rupture is the least common among all tendon injuries. The usual mechanism of injury is a fall on an outstretched hand, although direct contact injuries have also been reported to cause this injury. The diagnosis of acute triceps tendon rupture may be missed, which can result in prolonged disability and delayed operative management. We presented three cases of acute triceps tendon rupture each at different site showing the spectrum of injury to the muscle and mechanism of injury and management were also discussed.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify causes for recurrent PLRI, compare surgical treatment options, and analyze functional outcomes following revision LUCL reconstruction.
Methods: A retrospective multicentric case analysis was conducted, including patients who underwent revision LUCL surgery due to recurrent PLRI. Demographic data, surgical techniques (for primary and revision LUCL reconstruction) and postoperative rehabilitation protocols were analyzed, and causes of failure documented.

In the domestic dog, the medial head (caput mediale) of the triceps brachii muscle arises via a distinct tendon from the crest of the lesser tubercle and the accessory head (caput accessorium) from the proximal caudal part of the neck of the humerus. Here the author presents a previously unreported additional point of origin of the triceps brachii muscle on both antimeres of an adult male cross-breed domestic dog cadaver. The variant head arose via fleshy fibers from the medial aspect of the neck of the humerus, just caudal to the lesser tubercle and fused at insertion with the caudal aspect of the proximal half of the medial head.

Purpose: To evaluate motor grading and hand functional outcomes of restoring tetraplegic hands using single-stage multiple nerve transfers, including double nerve transfers, for finger flexion.
Methods: Patients with tetraplegia who had single-stage multiple nerve transfers between January 2016 and December 2021 were included in the study. We evaluated the patients using muscle grading, the International Spinal Cord Injury Upper Extremity basic data set, the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute-Hand Function Test, the Spinal Cord Independent Measure III, and the Spinal Cord Ability Ruler.
