An alignment method for correction of the axial and radial runout errors of the rotation stage in X-ray phase-contrast computed tomography has been developed. Only intensity information was used, without extra hardware or complicated calculation. Notably, the method, as demonstrated herein, can utilize the halo artifact to determine displacement.

Ceramic-copper substrates, as high-power, load-bearing components, are widely used in new energy vehicles, electric locomotives, high-energy lasers, integrated circuits, and other fields. The service length will depend on the substrate's copper-coated surface quality, which frequently achieved by utilising an abrasive strip polishing procedure on the substrate's copper-coated surface. Precision diamond fly-cutting processing machine tools were made because of the low processing accuracy and inability to match the production line's efficiency.

To comprehensively obtain the effect of the machining process on the three-dimensional surface topography of machined potassium dihydrogen phosphate crystals, a dynamic response model of a machining system was built to calculate the dynamic displacement variables in the different processing directions. This model includes almost all processing factors, such as cutting parameters, environment vibration, radial and axial runout of the spindle, cutting tool parameters, material parameters, guide way error, fast tool servo and lubrication condition errors, etc. Compared with the experimental results, the three-dimensional topographies and two-dimensional profiles of the simulation surfaces were nearly consistent with those of experimental machined surfaces.

School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Wuhan Textile University, Wuhan, Hubei, China.

In the biomedical field, polyurethane (PU) is widely used in interventional catheters, artificial hearts, artificial blood vessels, orthopedic materials, medical adhesives, and other medical devices. In this paper, a method based on machine vision was proposed to control the drafting and winding accuracy of PU filament in order to solve the problem of centrifugal runout when the mold rotates. The centrifugal runout of the mold directly affected the preparation efficiency and quality of long artificial blood vessel by wet spinning.

Understanding the influence of bearing component roundness errors and roller number on the rotational accuracy of rolling bearings is crucial in the design of high precision bearings. The rotational accuracy of an assembled bearing is dependent upon roller number and roundness errors of the bearing components. We propose a model for calculating the rotational accuracy of a cylindrical roller bearing; we experimentally verified the effectiveness of the model in predicting the radial run-out of the inner ring proposed in the previous paper in this series.

The current study investigated the efficacy of extract of Bacopa monnieri (BM; CDRI 08®) in reducing levels of inattention and hyperactivity in young children. BM has demonstrated improvements in cognitive outcomes in adults, yet little research is available on its effects in younger populations. A 14-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, with placebo run-in and run-out phases, investigated the effects of BM on behavioural, cognitive, mood, and sleep effects in male children aged 6 to 14 years against placebo.
