Background: Migrasomes are newly identified organelles on the retracting fibers of migrating cells, involved in releasing signaling molecules, expelling damaged mitochondria, and facilitating intercellular communication through phagocytosis. TSPAN4, a key regulator of migrasome formation, is a valuable marker for visualizing these organelles. However, its role in cancer remains unclear.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) poses a major risk to human health and exert a heavy burden on individuals, society, and healthcare systems. Therefore, it is critical to identify CVD's underlying mechanism(s) and target them using effective agents. Natural compounds have shown promise as antioxidants with cardioprotective functions against CVD injuries due to their antioxidative solid capacity and high safety profile.

Background: Osteosarcoma (OS), the most prevalent primary malignant bone tumor in children and adolescents, arises from bone-forming mesenchymal cells. Despite advancements in surgical resection and neoadjuvant chemotherapy (cisplatin, doxorubicin, and methotrexate), chemotherapy resistance remains a significant challenge, leading to poor survival rates in patients with metastatic or recurrent OS.
Methods: In this study, we focused on the role of OTULIN, a key linear deubiquitinating enzyme, in OS chemoresistance.

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with limited effective therapeutic options currently available. Recent research has highlighted the pivotal role of mitochondrial dysfunction in the pathophysiology of TBI, making mitochondria an attractive target for therapeutic intervention. This review comprehensively examines advancements in mitochondrial-targeted therapies for TBI, bridging the gap from basic research to clinical applications.

Carbon black nanoparticles (CBNPs) are ubiquitous in our daily ambient environment, either resulting from tobacco combustion or constituting the core of PM. Despite the potential risk of trafficking CBNPs to the fetus, the underlying toxicity of nano-sized carbon black particles in the placenta remains unambiguous. Pregnant C57BL/6 mice received intratracheal instillation of 30 nm or 120 nm CBNPs.
