Increasing evidence has revealed that RNA subcellular localization is a very important feature for deeply understanding RNA's biological functions after being transported into intra- or extra-cellular regions. RNALocate is a web-accessible database that aims to provide a high-quality RNA subcellular localization resource and facilitate future researches on RNA function or structure. The current version of RNALocate documents more than 37 700 manually curated RNA subcellular localization entries with experimental evidence, involving more than 21 800 RNAs with 42 subcellular localizations in 65 species, mainly including Homo sapiens, Mus musculus and Saccharomyces cerevisiae etc. Besides, RNA homology, sequence and interaction data have also been integrated into RNALocate. Users can access these data through online search, browse, blast and visualization tools. In conclusion, RNALocate will be of help in elucidating the entirety of RNA subcellular localization, and developing new prediction methods. The database is available at http://www.rna-society.org/rnalocate/.

Background: Drought stress is a major environmental constraint affecting crop yields. Plants in agricultural and natural environments have developed various mechanisms to cope with drought stress. Identifying genes associated with drought stress tolerance in potato and elucidating their regulatory mechanisms is crucial for the breeding of new potato germplasms.

Background: Recent advances in understanding the regulatory networks implicated in Alzheimer's Disease (AD) evinces the involvement of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) as crucial regulatory players. The present study explores the role played by maternally imprinted lncRNA XIST in regulating the sex-biased prevalence of AD.
Method: With whole transcriptomic sequencing data from the hippocampal RNA of post-mortem AD brains from humans and APP/PS1 mice, the altered expression of XIST in AD was studied.

Background: APOE is the major genetic risk factor for sporadic Alzheimer's disease (AD). Although APOE is well known to promote Aβ pathology, recent data also support an effect of APOE polymorphism on phosphorylated Tau (pTau) pathology.
Method: To elucidate this potential effect, the pTau interactome was analyzed across APOE genotypes in the frontal cortex of 10 advanced AD cases (n = 5 APOE and n = 5 APOE), using a combination of anti-pTau PHF1 (pS396/pS404) immunoprecipitation and mass spectrometry.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death worldwide. However, the molecular mechanism underlying the occurrence and development of HCC remains unclear. We are interested in the function of m6A methylation enzyme WTAP in the occurrence and development of HCC.
