Purulent skeletal muscle abscesses can occur in Crohn's disease. We report a case of a sterile seroma complicating percutaneous drainage of a purulent skeletal muscle abscess in Crohn's ileitis. We compare and contrast this case with a similar case we published earlier. We emphasize the importance of recognition and differentiation from a septic purulent abscess.

We present a case of subfertility due to isthmocele and cesarean scar endometriosis with a successful pregnancy following laparoscopic repair. This case report is of a 35-year-old female (para 1, living 1) who presented to the gynecological outpatient department with complaints of lower abdominal pain, irregular vaginal bleeding for three months, and subfertility. She was suspected to have isthmocele and endometriosis at the site of the cesarean scar with seroma formation.

Background And Objective: Complications associated with implant-based reconstruction have a spectrum of severity with sequelae ranging from mild aesthetic deformities to additional surgery, reconstructive failure and systemic illness. The purpose of this narrative review of the literature is to provide updated evidence-based information on the management of complications in implant-based reconstruction.
Methods: A systematic search of PubMed, OVID MEDLINE and the Cochrane Library databases was performed to identify common complications associated with implant-based breast reconstruction, incidences of occurrence as well as preventative and management strategies.
