Objective: This study was designed to investigate the distribution of nadir oxygen delivery (DO), mean DO, and area under ideal DO (AUiDO) among categorized age groups of pediatric patients and their associations with postoperative cardiac surgery-associated (CSA) acute kidney injury (AKI) and clinical outcomes.
Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Setting: A tertiary teaching hospital.

Purpose: To introduce a novel design for scan body accessory parts that are reusable, easy to attach and detach without permanent change of the scan body, and can be used with different inter-implant distances to enhance the accuracy of complete arch implant scans.
Materials And Methods: A maxillary polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) model with a soft tissue replica was fabricated with four implant analogs located at tooth positions 17, 13, 22, and 27 with 18, 25, and 30 mm inter-implant distances. Four scan bodies (SBs) were attached to the implants.

Purpose: The aims of this study were (1) to determine the associations of cardioplegic solutions with postoperative main strong ion difference (mSID), which is the difference between sodium ion concentration and chloride ion concentration ([Cl]) and (2) to determine the associations of cardioplegic solutions with markers of organ dysfunction.
Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, patients aged <5 years who underwent cardiac surgery in a tertiary teaching hospital were included. Patients were classified on the basis of the type of cardioplegic solution: modified del Nido cardioplegia (mDNC) and conventional cardioplegia (CC).

Mitigating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is vital for creating sustainable municipal solid waste management systems (MSWMS). In this study, we constructed an MSWMS considering recycling and carried out GHG emission accounting for MSWMS in western China from 2012 to 2021 based on the IPCC mass balance (MB) method. Then, we modeled the emission reduction potentials and economic benefits under different scenarios for 211 prefectural and county-level cities.
