This study aims to analyze the impact of muscle transfer on the glenohumeral joint in children with obstetric brachial plexus palsy (OBPP) using MRI by comparing preoperative and 5-year follow-up postoperative imaging findings to determine whether tendon transfers affect the alignment and configuration of the glenohumeral joint. Ten children with obstetric brachial plexus palsy (OBPP) participated in our prospective observational study, and we performed a tendon transfer technique. Every patient had an MRI of both shoulders done at preoperative and at the 5-year mark following the procedure.

Background: Non-compressible torso hemorrhage (NCTH) represents a leading cause of preventable mortality in trauma. Resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta (REBOA) stabilizes NCTH but may predispose patients to thrombus generation. REBOA must therefore be prospectively evaluated for coagulation risks with concomitant usage of anti-fibrinolytic tranexamic acid (TXA).

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the relationships between kinesiophobia and injury severity, balance ability, knee pain intensity, self-efficacy, and functional status in patients with meniscus injuries and to identify key predictors of kinesiophobia.
Design: A single-center, prospective cross-sectional study.
Methods: A cross-sectional study involving 123 patients diagnosed with meniscus injuries at Fujian Provincial Hospital was conducted.

Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is a prevalent contaminant in food and feed matrices, known for its hepatotoxic effects. Its metabolic breakdown generates reactive oxygen species (ROS), leading to oxidative stress and subsequent liver damage. Mitigating oxidative stress is, therefore, essential for ameliorating the hepatocellular damage and systemic toxicity caused by AFB1.
