Rationale And Objectives: Promotion is an important milestone in the career of academic radiologists. Appointments, Promotion and Tenure (APT) committees require multiple letters of support from both internal and external referees. Traditional narrative letters are highly subjective, have high inter-reader variability, are time-intensive, and vulnerable to gender and other biases.

Purpose: In dementia care, the complexity of psychosocial needs and contextual variables often demands nonpharmacological interventions of a complex nature. The purpose of this scoping review was to investigate (1) how manuals published in refereed journals explaining procedures of complex interventions in dementia care are structured and their content disseminated and (2) to provide recommendations for future manuals.
Methods: A systematic search was conducted using four databases (Embase, PsychInfo, CINAHL and Scopus) following PRISMA-ScR and PICo method.
Background: Measurement of intratumoral expression of dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD) and thymidylate synthase (TS) may have some value in predicting the response to fluoropyrimidine-containing therapy.
Patients And Methods: We attempted to validate this association in a series of Russian metastatic colorectal cancer cases. While replicating already published protocols, we unexpectedly found that the use of commonly utilized gene referees, glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) and beta-actin, may lead to artifacts due to pseudogene-driven amplification from the genomic DNA template.

Infarct size evolution can be readily assessed from spatial QRS and ST segment changes. A computer system for real-time serial analysis of QRS and ST segment changes in the vectorcardiogram has been developed. QRS detection is done by multichannel template matching, the template being the running average complex.
