Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) provides a highly flexible platform for non invasive analysis and imaging biological samples, since the manipulation of nuclear spin allows the tailoring of experiments to maximize the informativeness of the data. MRI is capable of visualizing a holistic picture of the lipid storage in living plant/seed. This review has sought to explain how the technology can be used to acquire functional and physiological data from plant samples, and how to exploit it to characterize lipid deposition in vivo. At the same time, we have referred to the current limitations of NMR technology as applied to plants, and in particular of the difficulty of transferring methodologies optimized for animal/medical subjects to plant ones. A forward look into likely developments in the field is included, anticipating its key future role in the study of living plant.

Background: The study aimed to investigate the reduction of hematoma risk during MRI-guided breast biopsies by evaluating position-dependent intervention parameters and characteristics of the target lesion.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 252 percutaneous MRI-guided breast biopsies performed at a single center between January 2013 and December 2023. Two groups were built depending on the severity of relative hematoma formation (using a cut-off ≤ 7.

This study explores the effect of different extraction methods and preheat treatments in obtaining protein concentrate from pumpkin seed flour. The effects on the yield and functional properties of pumpkin seed protein concentrate (PSPC) were compared alongside microwave and conventional preheating methods using alkali, salt, and enzyme-assisted alkali extraction techniques. Analytical assessments included proximate analysis, soluble protein content, water solubility index (WSI), emulsification activity (EA) and stability (ES), foaming capacity (FC) and stability (FS), and antioxidant activity (AA).

Purpose: Biodiesel is a non-toxic, renewable, and environmentally friendly fuel used in compression ignition engines. This work aimed to develop FeO/SiO as a cheap, magnetic, and easy separable catalyst for biodiesel production from waste oil by sono-catalytic transesterification.
Methods: Fe₃O₄-SiO₂ was prepared using a modified Stober method and used as a heterogeneous catalyst in an ultrasound-assisted transesterification reaction to produce biodiesel.

Fibroblast activating protein (FAP) is up-regulated in cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) of more than 90 % of tumor microenvironment and also highly expressed on the surface of multiple tumor cells like glioblastoma, which can be used as a specific target for tumor diagnosis and treatment. At present, small-molecule radiotracer targeting FAP with high specificity exhibit limited functionality, which hinders the integration of theranostics as well as multifunctionality. In this work, we have engineered a multifunctional nanoplatform utilizing organic melanin nanoparticles that specifically targets FAP, facilitating both multimodal imaging and synergistic therapeutic applications.

Purpose: Treatment of severe burn wound injury remains a significant clinical challenge as serious infections/complex repair process and irregulating inflammation response. Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs) have a multidirectional differentiation potential and could repair multiple injuries under appropriate conditions. Poly(L-lysine)-graft-4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid (PLL-g-HPA) hydrogel is an enzyme-promoted biodegradable in hydrogel with good water absorption, biocompatibility and anti-bacterial properties.
