We report on the electrical characteristics of field effect transistors fabricated with random networks of single-walled carbon nanotubes with surfaces modified by ZnO nanoparticles. ZnO nanoparticles are directly grown on single-walled carbon nanotubes by atomic layer deposition using diethylzinc (DEZ) and water. Electrical observations show that ZnO nanoparticles act as charge transfer sources that provide electrons to the nanotube channel. The valley position in ambipolar transport of nanotube transistors is negatively shifted for 3V due to the electronic n-typed property of ZnO nanoparticles. However, the Raman resonance remains invariant despite the charge transfer effect produced by ZnO nanoparticles.

A novel dual-parameter optical fiber biosensor based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for simultaneous measurement of urea and uric acid concentrations is proposed in this paper. Based on the principle of positive and negative electric combination, ZnO nanoparticles is selected as the matrix for immobilizing urease and uricase with selective recognition ability, which can also be used as a sensitizing material to increase the refractive index detection sensitivity of SPR by 22%. Then, Nafion ion exchange membrane was introduced to wrap the urea sensing area to avoid crosstalk caused by the overlap of adjacent sensing areas.
The current research focused on examining the effect of a coating made from Balangu seed mucilage (TSM-BM) and gelatin (Ge), with varying concentrations of dill essential oil (DEO) (0 %, 1 %, and 2 %) and zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-np) (0 % and 0.5 %), on the quality characteristics of cherries stored at 4 °C over intervals of 0, 4, 7, 11, 18, and 25 days. This problem requires to be tackled forthwith through a cheap, environmentally friendly and viable approach to mitigate water pollution.
