Construction sites remain highly perilous work environments globally, exposing employees to numerous hazards that can result in severe injuries or fatalities. To resolve this several solutions based on quantitative approaches have been developed. However the wide adoption of preexisting solutions is hindered by lack of accuracy.

Paraduonenal hernia constitutes more than 50% of internal hernia cases. It can result in perilous sequelae like gut ischemia and perforation. We report a case of a patient who presented with acute intestinal obstruction and peritonitis and was diagnosed as a case of complicated paraduodenal as an incidental finding on laparotomy.

Indoor air quality (IAQ) is a leading apprehension currently especially in the perilous atmosphere, like hospitals. Clean and fresh air is very crucial for the patients and healthcare professionals in the hospitals. Therefore, we examined IAQ indicators (PM, PM, PM, NO, CO, and TVOC) at sixteen locations of three hospitals with an emphasis on seasonal variations, indoor/outdoor correlation, and concomitant toxicity potential (TP) of human exposure between October 2019 and January 2020.

This study explores the history of the denial of the vulnerability of non-White workers to risks of heat illness. Defenders of chattel slavery argued for the capacity of workers of African descent to tolerate extreme environmental temperatures. In Hawai'i, advocates of racial segregation emphasized the perils to Whites of strenuous work in tropical climates and the advantages of using Chinese immigrants.
