We report on a high-power third-order dispersion managed amplification system that delivers 33-fs pulses of 93.5 W at a repetition rate of 55 MHz. A pair of grisms are used as the pre-chirper for optimizing the third order dispersion (TOD) to group velocity dispersion (GVD) ratio. Detail experiments show that the use of a grsim pre-chirper significantly enhances the quality of the compressed pulses. We demonstrate that the third order dispersion of both the amplifier and the compressor can be compensated for by the grisms. Furthermore, the nonlinear phase shift introduced by spectral asymmetry during amplification can be restrained. This type of scheme, applied in our experiment, can be used for further development of a high power laser with ultrashort pulse and wide spectrum.

Synthesized 3,4-Diaminothieno[2,3-b]thiophene-2,5-dicarbohydrazide (DTT) Schiff base derivatives newly were synthesized by attaching with different aldehydes, deposited in thin film form by thermal evaporation technique, and characterized by UV-Visible-NIR spectroscopy, FT-IR, NMR, and elemental analysis. It is revealed that compound 4 has the highest absorption peak intensity at 586 nm. The allied absorption, dielectric, and dispersion parameters have been calculated and discussed.

In this report, the nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO NPs) have been explored experimentally using femtosecond laser light along with the Z-scan approach. The synthesis of TiO NPs was carried out in distilled water through nanosecond second harmonic Nd:YAG laser ablation. Characterization of the TiO NPs colloids was conducted using UV-visible absorption spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX).

Existing gearbox fault diagnosis methods are prone to noise interference and cannot extract comprehensive fault signals, leading to misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis. This paper proposes a method for gearbox fault diagnosis based on adaptive variational mode decomposition-stationary wavelet transform (AVMD-SWT) and ensemble refined composite multiscale fluctuation dispersion entropy (ERCMFDE). Initially, the kurtosis coefficient and autocorrelation coefficient are presented, and the Intrinsic Mode Functions are denoised through the application of AVMD-SWT.

Good optical quality of L-asparagine monohydrate (CHNO.HO) organic single crystal has been grown by adopting natural slow evaporation process at room temperature from aqueous solutions.
