Impactful learning through simulation-based education involves effective planning and design. This can be a complex process requiring educators to master a varied toolkit of analysis tools, learning methodologies, and evaluative strategies; all to ensure engagement of learners in a meaningful and impactful way. Where there is a lack of thoughtful design, simulation-based education programmes may be inefficiently deployed at best, and completely ineffective or even harmful to learning and learners at worst.

Background: Exercise-induced hypoalgesia (EIH) is characterized by a reduction in pain perception and sensitivity across both exercising and non-exercising body parts during and after a single bout of exercise. EIH is mediated through central and peripheral mechanisms; however, the specific effect of muscle contraction alone on EIH remains unclear. Moreover, previous studies on electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) have primarily focused on local analgesic effects, often relying on subjective pain reports.

This study focuses on the northern scenic area of Changbai Mountain, aiming to evaluate the emergency evacuation capacity of the region in the context of geological disasters and to formulate corresponding improvement strategies. Due to the relatively small area of this region, difficulties in data acquisition, and insufficient precision, traditional models for evaluating emergency evacuation capacity are typically applied to urban built environments, with relatively few studies addressing scenic areas. To tackle these issues, this research employs the Real-Enhanced Super-Resolution Generative Adversarial Network (Real-ESRGAN), which successfully resolves the problem of blurriness in remote sensing images and significantly enhances image clarity.

The adoption of coupled inductor contributes an increased voltage gain with reduced stress on the switches and diodes.

Introduction: There is growing interest in understanding chest sensory function due to the significant morbidity associated with impaired sensation following nerve injury. While the baseline quantitative sensory and pain thresholds in female and male patients have been studied in various other anatomic areas, there is little knowledge on quantitative sensation at the chest as well as the presence of possible gender differences. Therefore, this study aimed to conduct a comprehensive quantitative sensory analysis to determine if female and male chests feel the same.
