Foreign body granuloma (FBG) is an inflammatory reaction to an exogenous agent. This entity is well known on the cutaneous organ but very rarely described in the abdominal cavity. We report three clinical cases of intraperitoneal FBG following major debulking of pseudomyxoma and intraperitoneal hyperthermia chemotherapy.

Hyperthermia accelerates dehydration and can lead to a glycolysis malfunction. Therefore, to deeply understand the relationship between dehydration and hyperthermia during exercise, as well as in the recovery time, there might be important factors to improve athletic performance. A systematic review was carried out in different databases using the words "hydration" OR "dehydration" AND "glycogen" OR "glycogenesis" OR "glycogenolysis" AND "muscle" OR "muscle metabolism" OR "cardiovascular system" and adding them to the "topic section" in Web of Science, to "Title/Abstract" in PubMed and to "Abstract" in SPORTDiscus.

Background: Latent safety threats (LSTs-characteristics of design, processes, or physical environment in health care compromising patient safety) are commonly revealed during simulation-based training. Methods of collecting, analyzing, and classifying LSTs are underdeveloped and not standardized. Building on a large simulation program in one organization, the authors aimed to collect LSTs systematically and develop a taxonomy to classify them.

Background: Patients with cerebral palsy, a group of movement disorders with motor, and possibly communication and behavioral features that mimic catatonic signs, may benefit from efforts to improve the detection and treatment of comorbid catatonia. Given that cerebral palsy frequently co-occurs with conditions associated with catatonia, such as autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy, intellectual disability, and mood and psychotic disorders, lifetime prevalence of catatonia in this population may be high.
Objective: This study aimed to systematically review the literature on catatonia and the related condition of neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) in patients with cerebral palsy while presenting 2 additional cases of catatonia.
